We’re now taking bookings for 2025 and 2026! Our farm offers three stunning glamping spots, perfect for any birthday party group size. If you’re planning an unforgettable birthday celebration, you’ve found the perfect place!
At Fairmead Farm, you can often spot red kites gracefully spiralling above, easily recognised by their reddish-brown bodies, angled wings, deeply forked tails, and that distinctive whistling call. We’ve named our largest group glamping area after these magnificent birds!
One of the highlights of the view from our field at Fairmead Farm is the stunning Almscliffe Crag. This impressive Millstone Grit outcrop towers over the Lower Wharfe Valley and is a favourite spot for visitors.
Nestled in the picturesque Lower Wharfe Valley, Fairmead Farm is a delightful spot where the river Wharfe meanders through. Near the Kingfisher area, you can dive into some fun with kayaking, paddleboarding, or even a bit of wild swimming—it’s the perfect place for outdoor adventures!
We’ve packed our glamping site with tons of nice amenities, so you have everything you need! It really is the perfect spot to come and enjoy a fun and unique birthday party glamping experience.

Our birthday parties just love this option! Imagine using our giant letters to spell out the birthday girl/boy’s name, or your unique name for the event—it’s a fantastic way to make your special birthday party truly unforgettable.
Whether you’re thinking about renting the private Party Barn or just partying in the communal Bar Bar Barn for the weekend, both spots can be jazzed up with personalised decorations to match your birthday party theme. The decoration costs for the Party Barn are already covered in your booking fee (just add the party barn option to your basket at checkout), and if you’d like some extra personalised touches in the Bar Bar Barn too, it’s just £100 for the weekend.

Make your birthday party unforgettable with any activity or entertainment you like for an added fee. From live bands and singers, comedians, magicians, and bucking broncos, to silent discos, sports days, and scavenger hunts, we can arrange it all!
The infamous Otley Run Pub Crawl is only a 15-minute taxi ride away! Start at Woodies pub in Otley, Leeds, & tackle 20 pubs & bars en route to the city centre. And don’t forget your fancy dress – it’s customary on this crawl every weekend of the year!
Want to leave the birthday party decorations to us? No problem – we’ve got an extra package just for you! You can rent some fabulous birthday party decorations like personalised giant letters and themed barn party decor to jazz up the place.
We might be nestled in the stunning Yorkshire countryside, but we’re also just a short trip from the bustling city! Leeds centre is only a 30 minute car/taxi ride away if you fancy taking a trip to explore this great Northern city during your stay.
We’re just a quick 5-minute drive from the beautiful River Wharfe, perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or even wild swimming. Plus, plenty of walking trails surround the farm, so if the birthday party wants outdoor adventures they’re right round the corner!
Enjoy our communal Bar Bar Barn throughout your stay where our team will be on hand to whip up your favourite drinks. Plus our TinyTalian horsebox trailer serves up morning coffees and wood-fired pizzas in the evening!
Free wi-fi, plenty of power sockets for your electricals, plus lots of parking too! Not to mention our BBQs & firepits for the evenings, picnic tables & hale bay seating, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle – we’ve got everything you need.
Not only do we have our communal barn and horsebox eatery serving hot & cold drinks and food, but we also have proper shower and toilet facilities, too, where the water’s nice & hot! Plus, you can hire out our private Party Barn too if you want.
We’ve set up 80 cosy futon beds ready for birthday party guests across our site. They’re all set with sheets, blankets, and pillows, so all you need to do is bring your favourite duvet or sleeping bag to stay snug and warm at night.
No need to stress about parking when you arrive—we’ve got plenty of space on the farm for everyone! Even if our glamping spots are bustling with guests, there’s always room for every one of our guests to park their vehicles on site.

Underneath a giant disco ball, with bunting cascading either side, you’ll find the hub of the site – the Bar Bar barn, where our friendly crew will be on hand all weekend to look after your birthday party guests, serving you alcohol, soft drinks, cocktails and mocktails.
You’ll find lots of phone charging spots here, with plenty of plug sockets and extension leads for all your gadgets. Plus, we’ve got extra tables and even a microwave if you need!
The TinyTalian Food &
drink Truck
Fancy a break from cooking? We’ve got just the thing for you! Say hello to The TinyTalian – a charming, converted horse box dishing out scrumptious food and drinks. Join us on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8am to 10am for fresh Italian coffee, a variety of teas, and warm croissants and pastries.
And don’t miss out on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm to 8pm, when we serve up handmade woodfired pizza and delightful Italian pasta dishes. Just let us know what you’d like and when, and we’ll have it all set for you!

The Party Barn
We’ve got an extra barn up for grabs if you’re looking for a nice private spot for your birthday group to enjoy during your stay. The Party Barn is all yours for just £150 a night, and that even includes decorations! Got a specific birthday party theme in mind? Just give us a shout.
Feel free to bring your own drinks into the Party Barn if you’ve booked it for the night. And don’t forget, you’re more than welcome to swing by the Bar Bar Barn next door for some tasty drinks and cocktails. We’ve got some awesome pre-purchased drink packages too, like our gin and prosecco bar options, which we can set up for you right in the Party Barn.

We’ve spruced up our shower and toilet facilities, and you’ll find them in our charmingly converted horse boxes and trailers! They’re decked out to a high standard, with plenty of hot water and powerful showers.
We’ve got you covered with loo roll and hand towels too, and you can rent bath towels for just £5 during your stay if needed or bring yours. Just remember to bring your own toiletries!
Fairmead Glamping is lovingly managed by our close-knit team, who’ve been welcoming birthday party guests to our fun farm since May 2020. Behind the scenes, our farm owner often drops by to share his fantastic ideas and lend a helping hand whenever needed.
When your birthday group stays with us, you’ll get to meet our wonderful lead host, Alex (pictured here on the left), along with her friendly crew members. Alex has been part of our family for four years and is completely driven by her passion for hosting glamping parties!

It depends on which of the three areas you’d like to book. For our Red Kite and Almscliffe spots, the cost is £67.50 per person per night (minimum two night stay). For our Kingfisher area, the cost is £100 per person per night.
We can accommodate up to 82 guests across our site! We have three glamping areas available for booking, each facilitating different numbers of people –
Red Kite 20 – 40 guests
Almscliffe 10 – 32 guests
Kingfisher 2 – 10 guests

Our glamping site will be available from the first weekend in the beginning of May 2025 until the first weekend in September (ending Sunday 7th September).
In 2026, we’re open from Friday 15th May until the first weekend in September (Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September).
That’s ok! Our high quality tents will protect you from the elements, and our bar area is completely covered in the barn so don’t worry – we’ll keep the party going!

Yes, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit to be made to secure your weekend with us. We then require the final balance to be paid at least 1 month before the date you are due to arrive.
At Fairmead Glamping, we pride ourselves on our home made wood fired pizzas made to order which is perfect for in an evening before the fun begins. We also offer hot breakfast sandwiches and pastries on a morning! In addition to this, we can get local deliveries from take away’s close to us. Murgatroyds for example is the best fish and chip shop in the area!
Whilst there are no permanent activities to do on site, our team can cater for your requirements or plans. Simply drop us an email with any ideas you may have and we can make it happen! We have previously arranged silent discos, bucking bronco, sports days, scavenger hunts etc.
We do already have a selection of decorations in our party barn, in the field and around/in the tents. We do offer personalised decoration packages should you want anything in addition to the decorations we already have out.
Our giant letters in the field are always a huge hit, most people have the letters saying something relating to the party name e.g. ‘ALEXFEST OR FICHELLA’. The letters are available on request at a great rate!
Yes, along with the fridges in our bar and the TinyTalian, we also have some large fridges for guests to use a short walk from the camp site. Simply ask one of our helpful team members and they will put your items in the fridge then bring them to you when requested to do so!

No! We make the beds ready for your arrival! However, we do suggest, if you feel the cold, to bring a duvet or a sleeping bag. Whilst we provide linen sometimes our blankets are not enough for some people!
Of course! Well behaved & toilet trained dogs are allowed on site! As we are a working farm, there are sheep and cows in our gated fields, so we do ask that unless they do great recall and don’t run off that they stay on their leads. We also ask that any mess that is made is picked up so as not to damage our bell tents!
We do have a resident dog, Lookie, who is usually on site most weekends as long as the guests are okay with it 🙂
No, there is no age limit and we welcome all ages! Naturally, we do not permit or condone underage drinking.
Of course! There is a slight walk over the field to the toilet however usually takes less than 1 minute to get there. We also have a walk in wet room with a ramp that can be used for accessible needs.

Check in is at 1pm, and the checkout time at the end of your stay is 11am.
We are based in the village of Pool in Wharfdale, West Yorkshire, 30 minutes from Leeds city centre. Car is the easiest mode of transport to get to our site, however there are local buses and taxis that can get you to us too.
We have at least one host available on site during your stay at all times (although usually two), and they will cater to your needs and assist in any way you need during the stay. We will go above and beyond yo ensure you have the most wonderful weekend with us on site!
In your bell tent, you will find futon beds ready-made for your arrival, with sheets, blankets and pillows – just bring along your own duvet or sleeping bag for extra warmth at night!
We include hand towels for you to use, and either you can bring along your own bath towel, or we have some available for you to rent for an extra £5 each.

We request a 20% deposit at the point of booking in order to secure your dates for you. All deposits are non-refundable however we would try our best to change the date of your stay to a suitable weekend for your group if possible to avoid this.
The closest shop and cash machine is 1 mile away at the local Shell garage.
Yes! In the party barn, we have plugs and extension leads in the barn for you to charge any devices or even straighten your hair.
Oh absolutely! We have 2 full length mirrors in our party barn along with a mirror in each of the toilets and showers!
We also have 6 other mirrors between our shower block and both horse box trailers (which also house shower/toilet facilities).
Yes! We know WIFI is important to most people so it is available. Just ask a member of our friendly team for the password!

Yes – we provide a camp fire for each camp site so no need to bring your own! We can also sell you the wood for it if you don’t bring your own along.
Yes, 2 nights is our minimum stay however we would be open for discussing 1 night stays.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you have the site to yourselves as we can have between one and three groups staying with us on site. But… it’s always fun to make new friends!
However when we don’t have multiple group bookings you would be lucky enough to have the site to yourselves.
