Group glamping on the edge of Leeds
Fairmead Farm sits above the village of Pool in Wharfedale, on the northern edge of Leeds where the city gives way to the Yorkshire Dales. It is close enough for a Friday evening arrival straight from work, and far enough that the only lights you see at night are the farm and the stars.
We have three exclusive-use glamping areas for groups of 2 to 40, with furnished bell tents, hot showers, a licensed Bar Barn, wood-fired pizzas and a Party Barn you can hire for your own private space. Because every area is exclusive use, you are never sharing the field with strangers.
Guests come from across Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and York for hen and stag weekends, birthdays, work get-togethers and family reunions. Read the guest reviews to see what they made of it.

How far is it from Leeds?
By car: about 30 minutes
Take the A660 out of Leeds through Headingley and Bramhope, then the A658 down Pool Bank. The farm is on Pool Bank New Road, postcode LS21 1EU, with free parking for everyone in your group.
By train
Trains from Leeds to Harrogate stop at Horsforth and Weeton. Both are a short taxi ride from the farm. Leeds station is about 35 minutes away by taxi.
By bus
The X84 between Leeds, Otley and Ilkley stops in Pool village, a walk up the hill from the farm. Handy for guests who want to join the group for a night.
By air
Leeds Bradford Airport is about 10 minutes away, so friends flying in from further afield can be at the farm before the first drink is poured.

Why groups from Leeds choose the farm over a hotel
- The whole field is yours. No other guests, no noise complaints from the room next door.
- Everything in one place. Bar, food, music and beds are all a short walk apart, so nobody needs a taxi home.
- The city is still close. Headingley and the Otley Run are 15 minutes away, Leeds city centre 30, for a night out before or after.
- Things to do on the doorstep. Chevin Forest Park, Almscliffe Crag, paddleboarding at Otley and wild swimming on the Wharfe. See our guide to things to do near Otley.
- Add-ons for a celebration. Party Barn hire, silent disco, decorations, giant letters and The Robin wood-fired sauna.
